cyan AG completes capital increase raising more than EUR 4 million in issue proceeds

Munich, November 23, 2021 - cyan AG successfully placed all 977,453 new shares from the cash capital increase resolved on November 15, 2021 to institutional investors. The placement price was EUR 4.15, generating gross issue proceeds of approximately EUR 4.1 million, subject to the registration of the implementation of the capital increase in the commercial register.

The capital increase enabled cyan to further improve its financial situation in order to be able to react flexibly to growth opportunities even after the strategic transformation. The Executive Board thus believes that the company is well positioned to implement its strategy. The aim of the restructuring is to focus cyan AG on the high-growth area of cybersecurity for telecom companies and to make a sustainably successful new start from the existing customers as well as from the leads in the pipeline.

The company's share capital increased from EUR 12,408,431.00 to EUR 13,385,884.00 through the issuance of 977,453 new no-par value bearer shares by partially utilizing the authorized capital. The subscription right of the shareholders was excluded. The registration in the commercial register will take place shortly. The transaction was carried out by SMC Small & Mid Cap Investmentbank AG, Munich.
