(DGAP-Media / 15.11.2013 / 16:50) Press Release Q1 through Q3 2013: ISARIA Wohnbau Achieves New Sales Record - Apartment Retail Sales Exceed Volume of 100 Million for the First Time - Further reduction in finance expenditure - Positive year-end income forecast confirmed 15 November 2013 - ISARIA Wohnbau AG, one of the leading project developers for private housing construction in Munich, substantially increased its notarial sales during the first three quarters of 2013 while continuing the trend beyond the balance sheet date of 30 September 2013. Retail sales of condominiums and houses exceeded volume of 100 million euros in notarised sales as early as the end of October. This equals a one-year increase by 30 percent, while the previous record dating back to the banner year 2010 was topped by nearly 20 million euros. Financing Structure Improved by Reducing the Finance Expenditure Year on year, ISARIA Wohnbau considerably downscaled its finance expenditure for the third time in as many quarters. The cost savings resulting from optimisation measures initiated last year added up to 7.0 million euros year over year at the end of Q3 2013. The earning position of the reporting period was paced by low but high-margin revenues. The predominant share of the revenues planned for the 2013 financial year as a whole will not accrue until the fourth quarter, in the course of which certain residential units will be handed over. As at 30 September 2013, EBIT in the amount of 3.6 million euros translated into a consolidated income after taxes of -3.4 million euros at the end of Q3. At 2.96 million euros, the group equity almost matched the level of 31 December 2012 (3.01 million euros). Positive Year-End Income Forecast Confirmed With a view to the results at the end of the first nine months and to the current business trend, the Management Board reaffirmed its forecast that ISARIA Wohnbau is likely to conclude the year 2013 with a positive net income after taxes in the single-digit millions. 'Achieving this goal depends definitively on whether or not a contemplated acquisition and the planned completions proceed on schedule. We are quite confident, though, that we will succeed,' stated Haupt. 'ISARIA will enter the new year with a well-filled project pipeline, and with an outstanding status quo due to our high volume of sales.'
