SFC Energy receives order for several EFOY Pro hybrid fuel cell systems from one of Canada's largest natural gas producers amounting to more than CAD 600,000

Brunnthal/Munich, Germany, January 10, 2022 - SFC Energy AG (F3C:DE, ISIN: DE0007568578), a leading supplier of hydrogen and methanol fuel cells for stationary and mobile hybrid power solutions, has received another order in the Clean Energy business segment. One of Canada's largest natural gas producers has ordered multiple EFOY Pro Hybrid fuel cell systems, totaling a sum of more than CAD 600,000.

This order demonstrates how EFOY Pro Fuel Cells are being used by oil and gas producers globally, to provide reliable power without producing harmful combustion emissions. Focused on long-term growth through aggressive exploration, the customer is paving the way as one of the country's largest natural gas production companies and is committed to operating sustainably by relying on technologies such as SFC's EFOY fuel cell technology to achieve these goals. The execution of the order and the installation of the aggregates will be carried out according to schedule in compliance with Covid-19 regulations.

The customer strives to make its production activities more sustainable with regard to all environmental aspects. To this end, the clean EFOY Pro Hybrid fuel cell systems are at the heart of their fully electric, zero-emission well pad set-up in the Alberta Deep Basin.
