adesso SE moves up to the SDAX / Continuous expansion to become a leading digitalisation partner in Europe

The Dortmund-based consulting and software development company adesso SE will be listed in the SDAX in future. This was announced yesterday evening by Deutsche Börse following its latest regular review of the composition of the DAX indices. The inclusion in the SDAX will take effect on 21 March 2022. This will place adesso among the 70 largest companies in terms of free float market capitalisation below the DAX and MDAX.

The admission underlines investor interest in the strongly growing and profitable company. Over the last ten years, adesso has increased its sales by an average of 20% per year and expanded the number of employees to over 5,800. After a share price increase of 81 % in 2020, the share price rose again in 2021 by 115 %, far more than the selection indices. In the future, the company intends to continue on its growth path based on the sustained high demand for digitalisation services and products and is well positioned to do so.

Deutsche Börse reviews the composition of its indices once a quarter. In the March review, the DAX index family is reviewed by all rules, Fast Exit, Fast Entry, Regular Exit and Regular Entry.
