The Management Board of DAB Bank AG (WKN: 507230), Munich, has just been informed by HypoVereinsbank (UniCredit Bank AG), Munich, that the Management Board of HypoVereinsbank has reached an agreement with BNP Paribas S.A. on the sale of its 81.4%% equity stake in DAB Bank AG. A price of EUR4.78 per share was agreed. Thus, HypoVereinsbank's investment is valued at around EUR354 million. The Supervisory Board of HypoVereinsbank must still approve the transaction. The closing of the transaction is pending, subject to the approval of the competent authorities, particularly the German Federal Financial Services Supervisory Office (BaFin) and the cartel authorities.
