DGAP-News: COR&FJA AG / Key word(s): Half Year Results COR&FJA AG: COR&FJA publishes financial figures for the first half of 2014 14.08.2014 / 10:22 --------------------------------------------------------------------- COR&FJA publishes financial figures for the first half of 2014 - Turnover and earnings both in line with plans - Renaming as msg life ag scheduled for beginning of October 2014 (Leinfelden-Echterdingen, 14 August 2014) - COR&FJA AG can look back on a good first six months of 2014: Both its turnover of 50.8 million euros (as per 30 June 2013: 63.1 million euros) and its earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation of property, plant and equipment, and amortisation of intangible assets (EBITDA) amounting to 8.1 million euros (as per 30 June 2013: -5.1 million euros) are fully in line with the company's plans as at the balance sheet date - although neither of these key indicators can be compared with the corresponding prior-year period because the reporting period at that time still took account of the Banking segment, which has in the meantime been disposed of, and the consolidation of the equity interest in plenum AG which has likewise been disposed of. All in all, COR&FJA generated consolidated earnings amounting to 5.0 million euros as of the mid-year point in 2014 (as per 30 June 2013: -8.8 million euros) and earnings per share of 0.12 euros (as per 30 June 2013: -0.20 euros). In view of the current market and sales situation, COR&FJA is expecting to generate turnover of roughly 100.0 million euros and an operating result before interest, taxes, depreciation of property, plant and equipment and amortisation of intangible assets (EBITDA) of some 11.0 million euros in the current 2014 financial year. The planned change in the company's name to 'msg life ag' was adopted with a large majority at the Annual General Meeting held at the end of June this year. The actual change of the name is scheduled for 1 October 2014, after which the company intends, as far as possible, to extend the new name to COR&FJA's European subsidiaries as well. The company's intention in taking this step is to show clearly, also vis-à-vis the outside world, these companies' affiliation to the msg Group and the increasingly close collaboration that is the result - within an economically even larger and more effective group of companies.
