Change of name to 029 Group SE, new orientation of business model and capital increase in kind 

Berlin, August 10, 2022: Mendarion SE, (ISIN: DE000A2LQ2D0, WKN: A2LQ2D) and Apeiron Investment Group Ltd. (based in Malta), will further intensify their partnership.

Today's Annual General Meeting of Mendarion SE ("Company") resolved, among other things, to change the company's name and to realign the Company’s strategy and business model. In the future, the Company will operate as an investment holding company under the name 029 Group SE. In addition, a capital increase against contribution in kind was resolved by issuing 4,750,000 new bearer shares. The new shares were subscribed by the major shareholder Apeiron Investment Group Ltd., which is making a contribution in kind to the Company in the form of shareholdings in several portfolio companies in the hospitality and lifestyle sectors. The share capital of the Company will amount to EUR 5 million after the implementation of this capital increase. The Company aims to have its shares admitted to trading on the regulated market of the Düsseldorf Stock Exchange in fall 2022.

The Company's vision is to become a global hospitality and lifestyle investment holding company and platform that supports its portfolio companies from strategic advice and capital raising support to access to partnerships and other synergies.
