Traumhaus AG: Forecast for annual result 2022

 

Wiesbaden, 28.11.2022: According to the current status, Traumhaus AG (ISIN: DE000A2NB7S2, WKN: A2NB7S) - provider of innovative settlement concepts and serial construction in solid construction - will achieve a balanced to slightly negative annual result in an extremely challenging market environment in 2022. The sales forecast for 2022 is in a range of EUR 68 to 90 million and will not increase by the average 15 percent forecast in the 2021 annual report. Accordingly, EBITDA is expected to be in the low single-digit million range and not between 10 and 15 percent of total output as expected in the 2021 annual report.

 

Global supply chains were disrupted in the second half of the year. There are delays in the completion of the finishing trades, especially electrical components. The land registry and building authorities are still understaffed. A lack of building permits and land register entries mean that projects are being postponed until 2023. Sales also has to cope with a challenging year in 2022. Since the second half of the year, the buyers' uncertainty has been clearly felt as a result of the effects of the war, inflation, the development of building interest rates and energy costs.

 

“The year 2022 will present the entire construction industry with major challenges. The loss of federal subsidies, the ongoing effects of the pandemic on government agencies, high inflation and the associated increase in interest rates, and the energy crisis have unsettled buyers. We are assuming that the external circumstances will improve in 2023,” says Otfried Sinner, CEO Traumhaus AG, optimistically. "Nevertheless, we expect challenging market conditions for the 2023 financial year as well, but overall a calming of the markets, which we see as a result of growth opportunities."
