Notice of publication of the Financial Supervisory Authority BaFin regarding the 2021 consolidated financial statements of Social Chain AG

Berlin, 12 July 2023. The Financial Supervisory Authority BaFin has informed Social Chain AG of two errors in accordance with section 109 (1) sentence 1 of the German Securities Trading Act (WpHG) in the consolidated financial statements for 2021 as part of a spot check.

Both cases relate to incorrect allocations of transactions within the cashflow statement for the 2021 financial year. The overall cashflow was calculated correctly. The reporting error within the cashflow statement has no impact on the other elements of the financial statements, such as the balance sheet and consolidated income statement.

The corrections were already made to the consolidated financial statements of Social Chain AG 2022 in accordance with the requirements of the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) prior to the publication of the BaFin and communicated accordingly in the Annual Report 2022 of Social Chain AG (see link here) on April 27, 2023. In addition, the correction was also explained in detail at the Annual General Meeting on 21 June 2023.
