DGAP-News: SinnerSchrader AG / Key word(s): Quarter Results/Half Year Results CLEAR UPSWING IN BUSINESS AFTER WEAK SECOND QUARTER IN 2014/2015 15.04.2015 / 08:04 --------------------------------------------------------------------- As already announced on 27 March 2015, the second quarter of the 2014/2015 financial year (1 December 2014 to 28 February 2015) of the SinnerSchrader Group fell significantly short of expectations. The net revenue reached 10.6 million euros in the quarter of the report, thus falling short of the figure for the previous year by 0.7 million euros, or 6.3 per cent. The operating result (EBITA), at -0.2 million euros, was slightly negative, falling short of the comparable value of the previous year by around 1.0 million euros. The weak revenue in the second quarter of 2014/2015 was due to a noticeable reluctance to spend among major existing clients in the months of December 2014 and January 2015, and a lack of success in business with new clients, which saw price positioning playing an unexpectedly significant role. Resulting temporary over-capacities led to a disproportionately high fall in the operating result. Accumulated over the first half year of the 2014/2015 financial year, the revenue generated by the SinnerSchrader Group amounted to 23.0 million euros. The figure for the first half of 2013/2014 was thus exceeded by 3.9 per cent; however, in comparison to the extremely strong second half of 2013/2014, this constituted a reduction of 13.3 per cent. The EBITA in the half year of the report amounted to just under 0.1 million euros. The net income was balanced. In the first few weeks of the second half-year period, business in all the segments of the Group again showed a significant upturn. The SinnerSchrader agency alone has acquired six new clients so far. For this reason, in spite of the weak second quarter, revenue and operating result for the full 2014/2015 financial year are, as most recently forecast, anticipated only slightly below the levels of the previous year of 48.6 million euros and 3.06 million euros, respectively. The operating cash flow reached 3.0 million euros in the quarter of the report and totalled -1.3 million euros in the first half-year period. Liquid funds amounted to 2.9 million euros on 28 February 2015 following the dividend payment of around 1.3 million euros made in January 2015. On 31 August 2014 the liquid funds had amounted to 5.8 million euros. At the end of the period of the report there were 529 employees in the SinnerSchrader Group.
