The operating result (EBIT) amounts to EUR -15.9 million in the second quarter of the current year as compared to EUR -6.9 million in the prior year's quarter. Compared to the same quarter of the previous year, EBITDAR decreased from EUR 152 million to EUR 150 million. The financial result amounted to EUR -20.7 million as compared to EUR 9.5 million in the previous year. Pre-tax earnings in the second quarter 2015 amounted to EUR -36.6 million from EUR 2.6 million in the same quarter of the previous year. The net result for the second quarter 2015 amounts to EUR -37.5 million from EUR 8.6 million in the second quarter of 2014. Earnings per share based on an average number of 116,800,508 shares outstanding in the reporting period amounts to undiluted and diluted EUR -0.37 compared to EUR 0.07 (basic) and EUR 0.03 (diluted) in the previous year. As of 30 June 2015, Air Berlin's total assets amounted to EUR 1,789.7 million (31 December 2014: EUR 1,863.6 million), its total equity amounted to EUR -575.3 million (31 December 2014: EUR -415.6 million) and its net debt amounted to EUR 767.1 million (31 December 2014: EUR 804.3 million).
