The bareboat charter agreement that originally ran until 5 March 2019 will be extended for five more years until 5 March 2024 with a charter rate retroactively reduced as of 1 August 2015. This is securing additional revenues for the Marenave-Group of USD 33.1 million. The agreement also provides for purchase and extension options for the charterer upon expiry of the new charter period. Following the planned repayment of the bank loan financing the car carrier until 5 March 2019, the car carrier will generate fixed, predictable free cash flows of approx.
