UMS United Medical Systems International AG (UMS/ ISIN DE0005493654) today reported on the first half year after the dissolution of the Company on April 30, 2015. The expenses incurred are mostly covered by the liquidation provision formed in the short fiscal year, so that a profit of EUR 13k was earned on account of interest income. Since the fiscal year was changed in connection with the dissolution of the Company, the figures on the income statement in the last published reporting period are not comparable with those for the first half of 2014. Earnings per share amounted to EUR 0.00, following EUR -0.02 in the last published first half, while cash in banks fell from EUR 16.0 million at April 30, 2015 to EUR 14.9 million, as planned. Equity capital stood at EUR 15.0 million, down from EUR 14.9 million at the beginning of the year, with the equity ratio amounting to 93.1%. The Company sold its interest in United Medical Systems (DE), Inc. and thus essentially all its assets on August 14, 2014. Now that the assets have been sold, the purpose of the Company is to manage its own assets. At the shareholders meeting on April 27, 2015, the shareholders resolved to dissolve the company as of April 30, 2015.
