The operating result (EBIT) amounted to EUR -307.0 million compared to EUR -293.8 million in financial year 2014. EBITDAR amounted to EUR 358.9 million in financial year 2015 (financial year 2014: EUR 351.2 million), EBITDA to EUR -260.9 million (financial year 2014: EUR -196.8 million). Operating expenses decreased from EUR 4.47 billion in financial year 2014 to EUR 4.44 billion in financial year 2015. The financial result reached EUR -120.5 million after EUR -85.6 million in financial year 2014. The pre-tax result in financial year 2015 amounted to EUR -430.7 million (financial year 2014: EUR -378.9 million). The net financial result for financial year 2015 amounted to EUR -446.6 million (financial year 2014: EUR -376.7 million). Earnings per share based on an annual average of 116,800,508 shares outstanding thus amounted to EUR -4.04 compared to EUR -3.31 in financial year 2014 (undiluted and diluted). As of 31 December 2015, Air Berlin PLC's total assets amounted to EUR 1,418.4 million (financial year 2014: EUR 1,863.6 million), its total equity to EUR -799.4 million (financial year 2014: EUR -415.6 million), its cash position to EUR 165.2 million (financial year 2014: EUR 259.2 million) and its net debt to EUR 877.9 million (financial year 2014: EUR 804.3 million).
