The operating result (EBIT) amounted to EUR -62.7 million in the second quarter of the current year as compared to EUR -15.9 million in the prior year's quarter. Compared to the same quarter of the previous year, EBITDAR decreased from EUR 150.0 million to EUR 117.2 million. The financial result amounted to EUR -29.2 million in the second quarter of 2016 as compared to EUR -20.7 million in the same quarter of previous year. Pre-tax earnings in the second quarter of 2016 amounted to EUR -91.8 million compared to EUR -36.6 million in the same quarter of the previous year. The net result in the second quarter of 2016 amounted to EUR -89.1 million compared to EUR -37.5 million in the corresponding quarter in 2015. Earnings per share based on an average number of 116,800,508 ordinary shares outstanding in the second quarter of 2016 thus amounted to EUR -0.82 compared with EUR -0.37 in the second quarter of 2015 (undiluted and diluted). As of 30 June 2016, total assets amounted to EUR 1,703.0 million (31 December 2015: EUR 1,418.4 million), total equity amounted to EUR -987.0 million (31 December 2015: EUR -799.4 million) and net debt amounted to EUR 926.9 million (31 December 2015: EUR 877.9 million).
